The Peoria Unified School District board approved Darien Schoolcraft as the new principal of Centennial High School in Peoria in a 3-2 vote during Thursday’s governing board meeting. Schoolcraft was previously serving as the school’s athletic director and assistant principal.
The appointment comes while Centennial High School is at the center of police investigations involving former teachers, according to reporting on the leadership change.
