The trial began Monday for Lindsay Clancy, who is accused of murdering her three small children. Patrick Clancy, her ex-husband, testified as a witness in the case.
According to testimony, Patrick Clancy described what he characterized as a significant mental health deterioration in his ex-wife. Fox News reported that he discussed her use of the medication Seroquel and mentioned intrusive thoughts she experienced about harming their children prior to the alleged killings. An expert witness also testified in the proceedings, with Fox News reporting that part of the testimony “scared” the expert.
The case centers on the deaths of Clancy’s three children. The trial is ongoing with evidence and witness testimony being presented to the court.
