The United States and Saudi Arabia have conducted joint military strikes against Iranian-backed militia groups in Iraq, marking an escalation in Middle East tensions. According to military reports, Iran launched a surprise ballistic missile barrage against American positions. The U.S. military stated that all missiles from the Iranian attack were intercepted. Additionally, Jordan’s military reported intercepting five missiles that were launched from Iranian territory during the same timeframe.
