A former teacher at Independence High School in Glendale has been sentenced to four years in prison for secretly recording students while they were undressing. The incidents involved recording in unauthorized locations where students and staff members were changing clothes.
The former teacher was arrested in 2024 following the discovery of the recordings. According to reports, the incidents dated back several years before the arrest was made. The case was prosecuted as a criminal matter involving violations of privacy and recording without consent.
The sentencing concludes the legal proceedings against the former educator, who is now serving the four-year prison term.
