The event and main card
UFC BJJ 10 took place on Thursday, August 20, 2026, at the UFC’s Meta Apex venue in Las Vegas, Nevada, and streamed free on YouTube starting at 8 p.m. ET. The no-gi Brazilian jiu-jitsu event featured two title bouts, an inaugural flyweight tournament, and several of the sport’s top competitors on a newly designed fighting surface.
The main and title bouts
Andrew Tackett headlined the card in a welterweight title defense against Jonnatas Gracie. Tackett, a prominent face of the UFC BJJ promotion, entered the bout with an undefeated 6-0 record and was seeking his fourth consecutive welterweight title defense to improve to 7-0. Gracie came in undefeated at 4-0 under the UFC BJJ and FPI banner, though he is not related to the jiu-jitsu family of that name. In the second title bout, UFC BJJ champion Rebeca Lima faced two-time no-gi world champion Brianna Ste-Marie.
The flyweight tournament and notable fighters
The card kicked off an inaugural flyweight championship tournament. The bracket features two pound-for-pound standouts on opposite sides: ADCC double champion Adele Fornarino and UFC BJJ bantamweight champion Cassia Moura. Moura is seeking to become a two-division champion, while Fornarino, who withdrew from the prestigious ADCC 2026 event to pursue this title opportunity, is in pursuit of the inaugural flyweight crown. The stacked card also featured William Tackett, Jalen Fonacier, Danielle Kelly, Vagner Rocha, and Andy Varela, among other established BJJ competitors and champions.
The new fighting surface
UFC BJJ 10 debuted a new bowl design, smaller than previous versions with steeper walls that competitors must adjust to. According to MMA Mania, the change was intended to potentially increase action and reduce the frequent resets common in traditional jiu-jitsu mats. The new design comes after the renovated UFC and Meta Apex facility expanded its audience capacity for the sport.
