Peoria police responded to a shooting incident Thursday evening near Olive and 67th avenues. According to police reports, a woman was fatally shot during an altercation with her boyfriend.
According to reports, the shooting followed a verbal argument between the two individuals. When officers arrived at the scene, the man surrendered to police without further incident and was taken into custody.
