A pedestrian was struck and killed on eastbound Interstate 10 near Avondale Boulevard in the West Valley early Friday morning. The Arizona Department of Public Safety is investigating the incident, which occurred around 1:30 a.m.
The crash resulted in a temporary closure of a portion of eastbound I-10 in the area. The roadway has since been reopened following the incident.
