House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries has taken a more cautious approach, declining to flatly rule out a potential Democratic vote to abolish ICE should his party regain control of the House. However, Jeffries implied that such action remains unlikely and sought to downplay the broader push from progressive wings of the party for such measures.
