The resolution was introduced by Senator Jacky Rosen, a Democrat from Nevada.
Maxwell was convicted of her role in facilitating Epstein’s sexual abuse of underage girls. She has exhausted a series of appeals related to her conviction. The resolution reflects Senate opposition to any executive action that would grant her a pardon or reduce her sentence.
