Pakistan has been particularly hard hit during its monsoon season, with the death toll from monsoon rains and floods exceeding 100 according to Al Jazeera. The monsoon season in Punjab typically continues until September, with additional rainfall expected in the coming weeks, raising concerns about further flooding and casualties.
