Tadej Pogacar secured his fifth Tour de France title after the race concluded with the final stage in Paris on Sunday. With this victory, Pogacar equalled the record for most Tour de France wins, joining Jacques Anquetil, Eddy Merckx, Bernard Hinault, and Miguel Indurain as the most successful riders in the competition’s history.
Mathieu van der Poel won the sensational 21st and final stage around Paris. The completion of the race marks the conclusion of this year’s Tour de France cycling competition.
