Rep. Marcy Kaptur, D-Ohio, was hospitalized after the vehicle she was riding in was struck in a hit-and-run crash in Toledo on Sunday, Aug. 2. Toledo police said officers responded to a “hit-skip crash” at the intersection of North Detroit and Central avenues at about 10:48 a.m. local time.
