A serious crash on southbound Cave Creek Road near Sonoran Desert Drive in north Phoenix resulted in road closures Saturday morning. The crash occurred around 10:30 a.m., according to reports from local authorities.
At least one person was transported to a hospital as a result of the collision. The southbound lanes of Cave Creek Road remain closed as emergency responders and traffic officials work the scene.
Motorists in the area are advised to avoid southbound Cave Creek Road near Sonoran Desert Drive and seek alternate routes. Further updates on road reopening are expected as the investigation continues.
