A school bus crashed in Uganda, resulting in the deaths of at least 20 children and one adult. The bus was traveling back to Kampala from a trip to Sipi Falls when the incident occurred. The crash represents one of Uganda’s deadliest accidents involving children in recent years.
In response to the tragedy, the Ugandan government has temporarily suspended all school trips across the country. The suspension comes as families grieve the loss of the young victims and emergency responders work at the scene.
Road safety remains a significant concern in Uganda, where thousands are killed in traffic accidents annually. This incident has prompted authorities to take immediate action regarding school transportation and student safety during educational excursions.
