Sen. Darline Graham announced Monday that she will run for a full six-year term in the U.S. Senate representing South Carolina. Graham is currently serving out the remainder of her late brother Sen. Lindsey Graham’s term, which she was appointed to fill.
President Donald Trump has publicly supported Graham’s candidacy, stating he gave his “complete and total endorsement” to her campaign. Trump reportedly encouraged Graham to enter the race for the Senate seat her brother held for more than two decades.
Graham made her announcement during an interview with Fox News host Sean Hannity that aired Monday evening.
