Kansas City Chiefs Coach’s Wife Shot in Virginia Home, Son Charged

Mia Bieniemy, wife of Kansas City Chiefs offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy, was shot at their home in Ashburn, Virginia on Sunday evening. Police responded to the residence on the 20000 block of Northpark Drive just after 7:30 p.m. following the shooting incident.

According to authorities, the couple’s son has been arrested and charged in connection with the shooting. Mia Bieniemy was hospitalized as a result of her injuries from the incident. At the time of the shooting, Eric Bieniemy was away with the Chiefs at training camp.
