Lindsay Clancy’s trial began Monday in Massachusetts with opening statements and testimony related to the deaths of her three young children in her Duxbury home in 2023. Clancy is accused of killing the children and subsequently attempting to take her own life.
During the trial’s opening day, jurors were presented with evidence photographs that included a bloody knife and other items from the scene. According to reports, the photographic evidence also documented injuries Clancy sustained during her suicide attempt following the children’s deaths.
The trial marks the beginning of judicial proceedings in a case that has drawn significant media attention. Both the prosecution and defense will present evidence and arguments as the trial continues.
