Mississippi Teen Charged in Deaths of Elderly Couple, Had Prior Suspicions of Other Crimes

A 17-year-old Mississippi resident named Cordarius Hobbs has been charged with capital murder in connection with the June 3 deaths of Billy Blair, 74, and Virginia Carol Blair, 71, at their home in Mendenhall. According to law enforcement reports obtained by media outlets, Hobbs had performed handyman work at the couple’s residence.
